Formed in 2001, the Black Keys (the duo consists of Ohio natives Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney) broke through in 2010 with the album ‘Brothers’ and its single ‘Tighten Up.’ That year they won VMAs for Best New Artist and Breakthrough Video, and nabbed three Grammys. Their 2011 album ‘El Camino’ led to their first arena tour. Selling out shows globally and rocking audiences, this year they gave an extra special performance with Johnny Depp at the MTV Movie Awards.
