In just a year, British boy band One Direction (Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson) have become one of the biggest bands in the world, period. Their single 'What Makes You Beautiful' debuted at number one on the U.K. charts last year, and then the international takeover began. Their debut 'Up All Night' is the first album by a U.K. band to enter the U.S. charts at number one. In August, 1D had the honour of performing at the London Olympics closing ceremony.
