Portuguese-Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado has recorded albums in both English and Spanish, and has won a Juno Award, a Grammy Award, and a Latin Grammy. Her 2001 debut album ‘Whoa, Nelly!’ yielded three international hit singles including her breakthrough track ‘I’m Like a Bird’. ‘The Spirit Indestructible’, out in September 2012, is her fourth English-language album and features the singles ‘Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)’ and 'Spirit Indestructible'.
