Atiye was born on Nov 22, 1988 in Bremen, Her father is from Turkey and her mother from Holland. At only 17 years old, Atiye released her first studio album, 'Gösyaslarim'. On this album she sang both English and Turkish titles. Thanks to Internet downloads, her hit 'Don't Think' made her very popular in a short time. With this hit she received an award in the Kral TV Music Awards 2007, for best young artist.
